About Su-Bridge Pet Supplies
Su-Bridge Pet Supplies started life in 1976, when Brian and Sheila Manning operated boarding kennels and found that many owners returning from holiday hadn't the time to shop for pet food. The Mannings began to supply a bag of dog food to every pet owner, and the business literally grew from there.
It is all a long way from the one-man-in-a-van days, when Brian Manning trundled out in his transit van delivering sacks of feed and driving the sales rep around the area. We now have a professional team and dedicated staff of 80 in the office and warehouse, lorry drivers and sales all making the single transit van a distant and very fond memory.
From humble beginnings in a chicken shed, Su-Bridge marked the latest stage of growth in East Anglia, Norfolk with the latest addition in 2018 of a fourth warehouse covering over 25,000sq ft with 4 extra loading bays. Su-Bridge now distributes branded and own-branded pet food, supplies and accessories throughout the UK.
Although the dog food is still here, the range of products offered by Su-Bridge has grown and diversified over the years to include well known household and specialist brands of feed, bedding, clothing, toys, treats and grooming. Su-Bridge has become exclusive UK distributor for pet products from brands such as Ziwi, Farm Foods, Nobbys, and True Hemp, among others.
Our extensive range includes three own-brand labels, Extra Select, Lovejoys and Second Nature.
Extra Select features products that have been carefully sourced to offer high quality at competitive prices and includes:
- Wild bird food, treats and feeders
- Dog food and toys including a specialised tailored range for Gundogs
- Cat food and litter
- Small animal food, treats and accessories
- Poultry food and supplements
- Food for fish, turtles and terrapin, hedgehogs and even swan and duck
Lovejoys is a premium range of cat and dog food, treats and natural supplements. |
Second Nature is a naturally based dog food and treat range as well as accessories including cage mats. |

Su-Bridge originally took its name from the Mannings' two daughters, Susan and Bridget and is now run by Brian and Sheila's son, Ian, whose hard work has transformed the business into the success it is today. With over 40 years in the business and still going strong, Su-Bridge attributes its success and longevity to valuing every customer, regardless of spend, and going the extra mile really is second nature.
The success and achievements have also been acknowledged in recent business awards during 2018, including the following:

• Su-Bridge is also pleased to have been recognised in the fifth edition of the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report showcases UK’s most inspiring and fastest growing companies. To be selected for the list businesses had to demonstrate not only positive growth in revenue over the last three years but also outperform their sector peers.
